The Bear Brothers

These are some photos that Tommy and Danny had done today.

It's hard to believe Danny is one month old today.

Tommy started soccer lessons at school this week.

Danny's First Bath.

Danny's umbilical remnant fell off and he was ready for the first bath. Tommy, Patty and I gathered in the kitchen with the wee baby. Danny did not appreciate the bathing experience as much as the rest of us who watched and giggled. Tommy helped by moving the hose over his brother to remove the soap.

Tommy and the Crustacean.

Saturday Tommy and I were in the local grocery store. As we began to move through the meat section Tommy found the lobster tank. As boys will do he started tapping on the tank and taunting the beastly creatures. After he tired of that he began to poke his finger in the hamburger meat. I quickly corrected him. But he could not resist touching each pack of meat. I looked at him and said, "Tommy, if you do not stop I will put you in the lobster tank!" Tommy looked up at me with a shocked expression and begged, "No! Please don't put me in there..." he was horrified that I would even suggest such a thing. I agreed not to put him in the tank and he agreed not to bother the perishables.

Danny's day

Danny likes to eat! He has the strangest little cry he is so high pitched he squeaks more than crystal but only when necessary. He has a very calm disposition. Danny is a blessing to our household.

Tommy likes to hold Danny with a little assistance.

Here is Grammy holding the lad.

Here is Nana and Tommy playing with baby on the bed.

There he is with that high pitch cry.

Tommy's Brother

Tommy was excited to see his new brother and asked me if he could give him a kiss. I agreed and he gently clutched his head with both hands and planted a brotherly kiss on his cheek.

The monkey in the bed is the St. Valentine monkey because Danny was so close.

Patty is doing well this morning. Danny is enjoying his bottle drinking 41 cc this morning.

That's the whole family.

What did they put on my child's head! He looks like a Vidalia onion.
